After being in place for 6 months, the government’s directive to work from home has come to a halt from 19th July. Legal restrictions have been lifted on maintaining social distancing and wearing face masks. Government is also planning to remove the self-isolating rule for Covid-contacts people who are fully vaccinated or under 18 from 16th August.

However, this will not be a green light for life to return to normal despite the legal restrictions being lifted. The government has put the brakes on a large scale return to the workplace, expecting and recommending a gradual return over the summer.
